Houses
Through our house system, every student is part of something bigger - where friendships matter, strengths are celebrated, and everyone feels valued. Students can get involved and shine in a range of fun Inter-House activities and are encouraged to live our core values of being Safe, Smart, Responsible, and Kind.

Our House System is at the heart of student life, designed to support personal development, build community, and foster a strong sense of belonging. Every student becomes part of a House family, either belonging to Blakemere, Colemere, Newtonmere or Whitemere, that spans year groups, creating opportunities for leadership, teamwork, and positive peer support. Through House competitions, enrichment activities, charity events, and student‑led initiatives, pupils develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
The House System encourages students to celebrate their individuality while working together toward shared goals. It strengthens relationships, promotes wellbeing, and helps students recognise the importance of contributing to something bigger than themselves. By taking part, every student grows not only academically, but socially and emotionally—preparing them to thrive in school and beyond.
